Clicking on this site was a blast from the past. I went to Kings school between 84-86 before moving to London. Don't have the best memory but i do remember the tuck shop and the greenhouse which seems to have been replaced by a park bench. Only remember Justin Dewbury and David Sinclair. Well, well, well...got a golden ticket for helping Mr Winthorpe find his jacket. Well, the golden tickets were in his jacket pocket when I found it but didn't know - then when I went to return the jacket to Mr Winthorpe in the Staff Room, he pulls them out! Grr...I WAS SO MAD I DIDN'T TAKE ONE! Oh well, i'm happy now since I did get one in assembly and went up to the Youth Club. I got the score 5634 on Singstar - which means my note was - 'Hopeful'.

Hello Bielefeld. It's good to see so many memorable names in the guestbook. I was the ICT TA from 2003 - 2006 and had a great time. It stood me it good stead as I am now a qualified teacher in Salisbury teaching Year 2. I'm having a great time and we love Salisbury but do miss many things about Germany. I can't believe i found this website. I went here from 1990-1993, if I remember correctly. My family moved to the USA in 1993. I saw the pictures of the school and knew immediatly this was where I went, I specifically remember the long corridor that seperates the two sides. Does the acorn cracking contest still go on?

I would have attended the school between 1993-5 I think.

All I do know is that I was in Mr Peaches class and he was an awesome teacher and I'll always remember him getting us to call him Elvis when he was playing his guitar! :D

Hey people, I went to Bielefeld primary for the last year and a half of my primary schooling in 97 and 98, september 98 i joined Kings school. But following my departure from germany in 2001 i had a stroke at 13yrs old and lost many memories.. i have found the facebook group dedicated to the school but it doesn't contain any photos of myself nor do i remember many of the members.. i am now nearing my 21st birthady and would love to get intouch with anybody who remembers me or get some of those memorise back

Goshhh it's so amazing and wierd at the same time to see the school again! I had some of the best days in my life here =) I was a student here from 1994-2000! I can still remember the school soo well!

Fantastic site I attended Bielefeld School around 1968 (best school went to) and then went to Kings School Gutersloh for 2months before my father retired from the army. Remember alot of friends wondered if there was any one remembering me.

i used to go to this schl in maybe 99-01 i remember mr broadley and his chalkie stories =] they were way good. i cant really remember anyone in my class but i went to knitting club and i remember on the kitchen caught on fire and lots of fire engines came. i was only little but i loved it!

hey would just like to say. I remember most of my class, well who has been on here at least. Sara Hook in my class, your mum helped me when i sprained my ankle in yr5. I attended 97-01. In response to both Natasha Greenwood and Laurence de Brabandt. Would be glad to get in touch again. Sadly moved before Kings school.

Just saw the Year 5/6 trip to Dummersee pics........Mrs Carroll is our daughter! She was always at the front in exploring, and things like orienteering and camping with the Scouts (her big brother was a Queen's Scout so she had to come to camp with the rest of the family)...................
she was also a good runner (think about it on sports day !) so good she once won medals in the west midlands civil service championships.............

Mr Thomas is the best teacher iv ever had he's really nice. Bielefeld school is great- the equipment is great and the school lunches are fab. All the teachers are realy nice[miss Atkinson mrs Durben] alot . Your are really lucky if you get to go to this school

Hello: I too attended the school and believe I left in 1967 to go to Kings School. I remember very well Miss Pyman the headmistress, Jolyon R Ellis my teacher and Mr Rushby, who replaced Mr Ellis.
Of my contemporaries, I recall Thomas Medcalfe, Mark Talkington, Peter Challinor, Christine Hughes, Janet Marsden and Evelyn Daniels. Indeed, I have a photo of us all as prefects posing with Miss Pyman in the vestibule outside the entrance to the dining hall.
I also have some pictures of the a school pantomime involving Pirates and 'six very large turkeys'!.... I could search them out, scan and email them if anyone is interested.

Hi, I went to Bielefeld school 1963-1966, I had a great time, our teacher was a man called Mr. Ellis, an I remember him well, I liked the weekly swimming lessons in the town, its where i learned to swim. Had a friend called Alan Sinclair, wonder where he is now. Moved onto Kings in 66.

This is the most impressive SCE school website I've seen yet. You should apply for an 'ICT Mark' - a nationally recognised award for excellence in ICT. The videos and animations are particularly good and it's all very easy to navigate.

Hi to everyone who may remember me. I left Bielefeld in 1991, due to my parents divorce and moved back to the UK. I am particularly interested in contacting Katherine Hand, her birthday is in april, we were very good friends both in school and at home, those flats were the best! We wrote a few letters to eachother when i lived in Exeter. Also the twins that lived downstairs, you came to my sleepover for my 7th birthday party and my mum used to childmind you!So if anyone can help, please get in touch.
Bielefeld was the best school and i have many happy memories, especially the year that it snowed.
I am 21 now and living a good life.
My dad returned to Beilefeld many years later and my step-brothers attended this school.

i used to be a pupil from year 2- year 5 in 1997-2000 it was the best school i went to the friendly atomosphere makes me remember it. mr cromer, mr hainsworth, mrs hainsorth, the german teachers, mr peach, mr broadly and the funny blue hoodys that were introduced i remember them all. thanks for a great time there.

Glad to see the Cheerleaders still on website! Ex-pupils Lizzie, Becky & Ellie doing well. Lizzie has just won Y7 Form Prize for contribution to her Form last school year in Highschool and been put forward for membership of National Association of Gifted & Talented Youth for her grades across the board in Y7 & Y8! They call it being a 'Keeno' in this neck of the woods (keen on your work etc.) - and it all started in Bielefeld. She's also been elected Rose Queen for Lytham 2006/7!! Becky is School Councillor for Y6 and Ellie has just got the part of Narrator in the Christmas play - boy can she talk - so give her something useful to say. I attended Detmold school, at 6years old, and Bielefeld school at 9 years old between 1953 till 1954 then at 11 years old went on to Prince Rupert school, wilhelmshaven, Germay. Perhaps someone my have known me.

HI bielefeld school its ian napier when i got into year 3 a thought that the school was massive.As i went up years i gained experence and after i left the school i thought that, was the best state school ive been to.

It's so good to see that Bielefeld school is still around, I'm 27 now and started at Bielefeld in 82. If anyone remembers me give me a shout.

Wow, it's strange seeing the school now nearly eight years since i started (i think!!!). Now I go to a military boarding school, earned an academic scolarship and genarally do well. I remeber only a little of the school, the giant globe on the lor of the corridor and the hall where we did dance in our pants and vests (now it's navy skirts and white airtexes. I had such lovely teachers: Mrs Rudd, Mr Kerry (who was such a cutie in tartan trousers!), Mrs Antcliffe, Mr. Broardly. If anyone remebers me say hi, i had (and still have) dark wavy hair, brown eyes, and was quite tall.

I attended Bielefeld school from 1997 to 1999. I think. I remeber Mr Kerray and Mrs Antcliffe and Miss Mills. The only thing i remember about the school was the globe on the floor and the playground. I want to thank anyone who helped me whilst i was there. I won a scholarship to my current schoola am heading for level eights in all my year nine sats. Thank you. Really nice to view the school from a distance. It will be nice in the future if you can call up reports of your grandchildren (for instance) this may not be possible due to data control. It would be interesting to see what activities are planned within the school term though. Good luck

I was in Bielefeld from from 1995- 98 it was some of the best years of my life. I'd like to say hi to some of the teachers i remember, (if they still teach there) Mr. Hainsworth and Mr. Broardly. I'm doing really well in school heading for level 7s in english and science and level 8 in maths. I'd like to thank Bielefeld for my success.

Hello, I must say Bielefeld school did a tremendous job with me by giving me the greatest educational foundation one could wish for. I was in Bielefeld School from 1975-80. I was in Canberra House and I was on almost every sports team. I am now a Medical Biochemist practicing in Ghana my homeland. I remember Mr. Bland I, Mr. Stroud, Mr. Bland II, Mr. Armishaw, Mr. Wright, Mr. Sexton to name a few.
I just want to say keep it up to all staff of this very fine school.

Just read the SAC Annual Report for Parents. Great to see some very significant points highlighted. Fab website - ik.org is a very good facility. Sites like this are really useful for parents moving abroad (and back to UK) and a great way for ex-pupils to keep in touch.
